For this particular gala, I headed to SM Center Antipolo Downtown to attend the Kookie & Joonie CupSleeve Event at RoyalTea Philippines—and, because no fangirl adventure is complete without food, I also made a delicious side trip to Kyu Kyu Ramen 99.
Celebrating Namkook Day at RoyalTea Philippines
My first stop was RoyalTea Philippines at SM Center Antipolo Downtown, where ARMYs gathered to celebrate Namkook Day through a cute and colorful Kookie & Joonie cupsleeve event.
For fans, cupsleeve events are more than just getting a themed drink accessory. They are little celebrations of the artists we love, opportunities to meet fellow fans, and a chance to bring a bit of fandom joy into an ordinary day.
The event had that familiar ARMY energy—themed displays, photo-worthy details, and a large Sintra featuring Namjoon and Jungkook that quickly became one of the setup's highlights.
Cute Freebies, Prizes, and the Kookie & Joonie Bundle
One of the first things I noticed was that the freebies and prizes were already on display for the come-and-go cupsleeve event. Naturally, I had to take a closer look because who can resist cute BTS-themed event goodies?
Fans could also order the Kookie & Joonie Bundle, making it a fun way to enjoy a drink while joining the celebration. The bundle allows you to choose from: Fruitea, Coffee, or Milktea. And for an added treat, you can add a cookie and get a free cupsleeve.
While waiting for our drinks, attendees could also enjoy some fun games prepared for the event. And the prizes? Even cuter because they were fanmade BTS gifts! From the adorable game activities to the thoughtful fanmade goodies, these little extras made the cupsleeve event even more enjoyable and memorable for ARMYs.
A Little Drink, A Little Namkook, A Lot of Happiness
There is something special about fandom events like this. You do not necessarily need a grand itinerary or a full-day plan. Sometimes, all it takes is a cute drink, a themed cupsleeve, and a few moments surrounded by people who understand exactly why you are excited.
It felt like one of those small but meaningful All For You moments—an experience made extra special because of the community, the creativity of the organizers (Army's of the East), and the shared love for BTS.
And of course, a fangirl day would not be complete without taking photos of everything. The displays, the drinks, the cupsleeves, and all those little details were simply too cute not to capture.
Food Side Quest: Kyu Kyu Ramen 99
After enjoying the cupsleeve event at RoyalTea Philippines, it was time for the next part of the itinerary. Because every good fangirl adventure needs a food side quest.
Since I was already at SM Center Antipolo Downtown, I headed over to Kyu Kyu Ramen 99 for a warm, comforting bowl of ramen.
My order was the Kimchi Ramen, which was exactly the kind of meal I was craving after walking around, taking photos, and enjoying the event.
From Fangirling to Slurping
From Kookie & Joonie cupsleeve excitement to Kimchi Ramen comfort food, the day turned into a complete little gala filled with things I genuinely enjoy.
And that is what makes the Gala to the Max experience fun. It is not always about doing something extravagant. Sometimes, it is about maximizing the day with the things that make you happy—fandom, food, drinks, and a little time to enjoy yourself.
A little Namkook, a little RoyalTea, a bowl of ramen, and a whole lot of happy fangirl energy. Now that is what I call Gala to the Max!
