SM Supermalls is outdoning itself when it comes to food. Most of the malls I've been to around Rizal and within the East vicinity, will give you a lot of options when it comes to food now. Marikina has always been known for great food and its not a surprise that SM City Marikina is adapting to it.
Just last week I visited SM Marikina to try a few of the restaurants and I am quite amazed that they have it from coffee, breakfast, unlimited dishes, desserts and even steaks.

CUP POINT
For a four-eyed-person like me who is always on the look out for nice specs, it is such a great idea to come up with a coffee shop inside an optical shop. Here's Cup Point, an in-store cafe concept located inside Sunnies Specs Optical.
Waiting for your prescription eyeglass is not a big deal anymore as you wait with your kids, family or friends. They have a few chairs where you can sit and then choose over their drinks and chill.
Don't forget to try their signature coffee 'Out of Office' blend and milkshakes.

SAMGYEOPMASARAP
I am listing Sampgyupsal as one of my favorite dishes of all time, blame it to the KDrama's I've watched overtime. I can already imagine myself as Kim Bok Joo from Weightlifting Fairy. That is why I am so excited to try Samgyeopmasarap for the very first time!
Samgyeopmasarap offers unlimited meat with a wide options for side dishes.
- Unlimited pork BBQ: PHP 399 (pork belly, marinated pork belly bacon slice, six side dishes, and rice)
- Unlimited beef BBQ: PHP 499 (beef bacon slice, marinated beef bacon slice, six side dishes, and rice)
- Unlimited chicken BBQ: 349 (boneless chicken, six side dishes, and rice)
(Kids below 9 yrs old -1/2 price. Kids over 9 yrs old - full price. Left over penalty for P200. All prices are subject to 12% VAT)
Sampgyupsal is not that fun without the side dishes! Side dishes are fried dilis, radish, kimchi, onion, fishcake and baby potatoes. Complete with Samjang paste, sesame oil and salt.
You can also order alacarte dishes such as Bibimbap P250, Japche P300, Beef Rice Stew P300, Bulgogi P300, Pajeon P200, Egg Roll P150 and Egg Jjim P150.

I LOVE BUBBLE WAFFLE
I Love Bubble Waffle is a fun way of having your waffle. It comes from different flavors that you can enjoy. It has a detox flavor and even coffee! Other flavors are Koko Krunch, Matcha, Blueberry Strawberry, Ham & Cheese, and Bacon Smores.
Instead of having the plain bubble waffle, you can complement your chosen flavor with ice cream! Flavors of ice cream are strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, avocado, salted caramel, cookies 'n cream, green tea, coffee, bubblegum, dark chocolate, pistachio, mint chocolate chip, sesame, etc.
You can even upgrade it and add toppings like kitkat, fruits or peppero. It doesn't get any better than that right?

ROBERTO'S
An Instagram-worthy steak place that offers delicious steak meals. Upon entering the area, me and my companions can't help but to capture every calligraphy on the walls (credit to Marj of LittleMsPrinter), the tables are even adorned with American and Filipino designs, it also shows the Marikina shoe heritage. I loved how they incorporate the shoes and valued the quality of shoes being made from Marikina. No, this is not a shoe place but definitely a place to meet and eat good meat with your families and friends.
Roberto's offers quality premium meat - 100% Australian Beef and with an omnipresent Western Flavours among its menu. They also include variety of chicken, ribs, seafood, and pasta dishes.
We were served with Grilled Chicken Fillet (P340), Roberto’s Grilled Pork Loin (P260), Salmon Pacifica Brulee (P395), Pico de Gallo topped with Grilled Salmon (P395), Peruvian Steak (P350) and Porter House Steak (P395). The prices are quite reasonable because serving is generous and also good for sharing. The dishes are paired with rice, mashed potatoes, veggies, and grilled apple.
