Our Nuvali Experience

I wanted to expose my children to animals and nature. But with our recent sad experience at Ark Avilon Zoo, going to a zoo is out of the question. I wanted something where they could freely interact with the animals. We then decided to visit Nuvali. My twin boys love fishes so I thought this is the best place to see real and numerous koi fishes. Initially, I wanted them to visit Manila Ocean Park, assuming that this is also a zoo to fishes, I rejected the idea. So off we went to Nuvali instead. One hot fine Saturday, we finally decided to visit Nuvali.

Would you believe that we we went there by commuting? We Rode a UV Express from StarMall Mandaluyong going to Balibago Terminal, got off Balibago and rode a tricycle going to Nuvali. My kids didn't mind the heat as they actually enjoyed riding different vehicles. Which is why I thought of saving more for us to travel even within the city.

As soon as we got to see the numerous koi fishes, my kids jumped into excitement! I can't describe how happy they were when they see those fishes. The cost of koi feed pack now is P20. I was not able to compute on how many packs we've bought as my kids really enjoyed feeding them. Koi fish feeding is from 8AM to 5PM only.

We also tried boat riding for P250 which is the special rate. You'll need at least 12 persons so you'll only pay P40 each.

Look at those smiles! :)

We definitely enjoyed this experience! Hoping we could experience something like this again. I am looking into visiting a farm-like zoo where feeding animals are applicable, soon. Someone suggested Sta. Elena Farm which is also in Laguna but I think we need to rent a car so we could go there.
