First time to try Zakee Middle East which is located in Marikina. It was recommended by one of the carpool-mates so we ate there after our shift. I never really tried a Middle Eastern kind of food before so I can't really compare it to other food I've tasted. But what I noticed is their similarities with Indian food, using pita or roti almost all in their main dishes. And they also have distinct spices which make the dishes flavorful.
Zakee Middle East is proud of serving pure and authentic Middle Eastern food that is in the city known for food, Marikina.
I ordered for Fruit Yogurt Shake (PHP55) which was the best decision as it was a good partner to Ox-Brain (PHP95). Ox-Brain was one of their bestsellers and I am not surprised at all! But be sure you are not a faint-hearted person as this dish is very high in cholesterol. Get ready to order a lot of pita bread too!
My other carpool-mates ordered for Keema (PHP125) which is very tasteful too! It has potatoes and minced beef. Don't forget to add the garlic and hot sauce to make it more special!
