This is my first attempt to review a KDrama here on the blog. I am not really a die-hard kdrama fan. I may be in between. I loved it but sometimes I am just too lazy to watch the very long series. Pero sa totoo lang nakakahooked sya! My partner even noted na pinaglihi ko si Baby Chinita sa Koreanovela! Have you seen how chinky my daughter's eyes are?
So yeah, baka nga napaglihian ko sya sa isa sa mga koreanovelas. :) I am not really sure if it's Descendant's of the Sun or Lovers in the Moonlight. I also loved My Love From The Stars when my twin boys were born!
Anyway a few days ago, I just finished watching I Am Not A Robot Kdrama. I know there are a lot of good kdrama series out there that I haven't finished yet (Goblin & Legends of the Blue Sea). There is a long list but I am taking my time to finish them. Nakakapuyat kaya! He He He. A friend recommended watching I Am Not A Robot so I decided to watch it. The problem with these series was once you are hooked, you can't stop!
Plot. Kim Min-kyu (Yoo Seung-ho) lives an isolated life due to a severe allergy to other people. He develops extreme rashes that rapidly spread throughout his body once he makes any form of skin contact. Jo Ji-ah (Chae Soo-bin) is a woman who is trying to make it in life by creating her own businesses. However, after an encounter with Min-kyu, she ends up pretending to be a robot in place of the supposed Aji 3 robot. The Aji 3 robot was developed by Ji-ah's ex-boyfriend, professor Hong Baek-kyun (Um Ki-joon) and his team. The robot was meant to be tested by genius Min-kyu, however an accident caused the robot's battery to malfunction. As Baek-kyun modeled the robot after Ji-ah, the team ends up recruiting her to take the place of Aji 3.

Here are my thoughts on I Am Not A Robot KDrama. Not to worry, no spoilers here.
- What I love about Koreanovelas are that the actresses and actors have really great chemistry.
- The plot is somewhat unrealistic but you get the thought of "what if?" with our high technology and innovation nowadays nothing is impossible.
- It doesn't have too much drama. It has simple conflict and ending.
- The character of Kim Min-kyu was misleading as having a high level of IQ not distinguishing if someone was a robot or not. But well that's where the story started and there will be no story to tell.
- The ending seems so long that it had a lot of scenes that don't have to be there. Yung feeling na andun na eh, tapos biglang ay meron pa pala! Then turns out, ay bakit ganun? So many questions.
- I also got a lot of questions on the conflicts of Kim Min-kyu's corporate work.
- The scene where Kim Min-kyu thought that he was already healed and they went outside to mingle with anyone else made my heart really beat so fast! This is one of my favorite parts.
- Hey, I thought those kisses were real! As I saw the behind the scenes on Facebook and it made me want them together as a real couple! Yay! Kilig lang!
- I clearly understand that the concept of the story is for someone to be accepted and to be with someone who will appreciate him/her. It was relatable though there are a few misses I still find this series adorable and fun to watch.
