SM opens its 60th Mall, SM City East Ortigas last December 2, 2016. The newest shopping destination in the East launched a big celebration on its opening day as they welcomed shoppers with flash mob dances, parades, prince, princesses and mascots appearances. They also had celebrity guests that performed at the mall's center stage during the opening and on a weekend. Strategically located along Ortigas Avenue, SM City East Ortigas occupies a prime spot right at the boundary of Pasig City and Cainta where it enjoys proximity and accessibility to Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong, Marikina and nearby towns of Rizal. The location is the former Ever Gotesco Mall.

The mall structure will feature a modern design accented by a classic wood finish. It will have around 125 leasable spaces and 650 parking slots. Set as the community's active lifestyle hub, the mall's curtilage features a paved jogging path, a loop that goes around the mall filled with trees serving as natural shade in the day.
The 60th SM Supermall in the country is eager and ready to welcome to its fold a diverse tenant mix anchored by The SM Store, SM Supermarket, SM Appliance Center, Ace Hardware and Watsons. The mall will have state-of-the-art cinemas, comprised of four Digital Cinemas and four Director's Club theaters. See other establishments below.
