Hi Bye, Mama! is a 2020 South Korean television series starring Kim Tae-hee, Lee Kyu-hyung and Go Bo-gyeol. Cha Yu-ri has been a ghost since she died in a tragic accident five years ago. Through a reincarnation project, she is given the possibility to become human again if she succeeds in going back to her place within 49 days. However, her husband is now remarried.
MY REVIEW:
I started watching this after watching the movie "Be With You" with the same unconditional love from a mother and it was talked about din kasi of some of my friends sa FB. Eto ata yung palabas na walang villain and walang sweet kilig scenes which are usual sa mga KDrama. All the characters are good in their own way. Maiinis ka na lang kasi nga walang may masamang intensyon eh.
Medyo nabagalan ako sa plot and predictable din yung ending. Hindi din ako masyadong naiyak (sorry na!). Mas nakakaiyak pa din yung "Go Back Couple" for me. Naghahanap ako ng something dun sa exorcist akala ko may mangyayaring climax na before the ending eh. Pero waley.
Anyway, it is still a good choice if you want something light. It also shows the unconditional love of a mother, not even death can stop her. At ang ganda ni Kim Tae Hee kahit 40 yrs old na sya!
PS: If napanuod nio na yung Oh My Ghost, a virgin ghost will look familiar to you. She played the same role here as well as the shaman who is running after her.
Trivia: Did you know that Cha Yu-ri's daughter here is a boy in real life?
