Yellow Lantern Cafe - Lilac, Marikina

It is no secret that my favorite color is yellow. So I am one happy mommy when I was invited to Yellow Lantern Cafe. Sayang nga lang, but I was invited at the Marikina branch. I always wanted to go to their Antipolo branch. Anyway, I am always grateful for any invitation especially if we were talking about food and did I mention that I love supporting nearby restaurants not just in Antipolo alone.

Welcome to Yellow Lantern Cafe! According to the chef, the owner came up with the name because he believes that Yellow means happines and positivity. Well, I don't disagree with that. In fact yellow makes me happy in an unexplainable feeling.

Upon entering, I already felt the happiness & homey vibe. In fact, I love the look of the place and those cute little yellow lanterns scattered everywhere. Surely, this place will make you feel at home.

I would recommend this, without doubt! I might be bias in terms of rice because I am a rice person but this one is for the book! Don't forget to order this. It is a binagoongan rice but it is not salty and really flavorful. Another plus factor is that it has salted egg! Yum!
