Who wouldn't love hotdog on a bun plus fries? My partner, for example, will go gaga over hotdog buns and my kids over fries. They are definitely a good combination. Recently, I discovered this small stall in Antipolo that offers both. The stall is located just beside the FX Terminal at the back of Chowking.
JK Meats & Fries was conceptualized by couple's Jok and Kate. Hence the name 'JK'. Jok, a graduate of HRM handled the cooking while Kate on Marketing. Their stall started last Feb 2018 and is quite doing good.
They only have a small stall, a few chairs and tables and an open area for cooking. And who couldn't resist the smell of cooking that street food on a public place? I don't know about you but there is something fascinating about watching the food while it is being cooked.

The food is not pretentious and straightforward. It is affordable but you can't go wrong with the taste. The hot dogs tasted meaty and not too salty. I also like how the buns are soft and don't have too much hangin. I liked Bacondogs the most as the toppings go well together. The fries are also cooked well as it didn't go too soggy even if puro sauce sya. The Overload is also one of my favorites.
But bear in mind that this is still street food and don't assume a bonggacious plating and all. The buns & fries are served on a paper food box. I enjoyed the food that can be a comfort food especially for students that are on a budget. It is a bit too hot in their area and you'll never notice it if you are not familiar with the area.
