As we continue to count a few more days before Christmas, SM Supermalls gave us another Grand Christmas Launch this time with Disney Lightning McQueen and Marlon Stockinger, the first ever Filipino to win a Formula Race in Europe. Boys and girls who were dressed on their racing outfits and Lightning McQueen shirts were super excited to see the life-sized Lightning McQueen decor when it was unveiled last November 12, 2017 at SM City Marikina's atrium stage.

Complementing the theme for cars, the atrium's center-stage was designed with a Christmas tree made from tires.

Following the SM Christmas custom, SM City Marikina is again propelling the Bears of Joy, a yearly charity program of SM Supermalls wherein customers can likewise take an interest by purchasing a couple of Christmas Teddy Bears for P200 from the Bears of Joy corner. One of the two bears will be given to a chosen charity of SM City Marikina, while the giver can take the other one home. SM City Marikina will give the collected gave bears to a chosen charity.
