Babymama: Natural Nurturing

Babymama: Natural Nurturing

Being a mom to twinboys for more than 2 years, I thought master ko na pagiging mom once we have another addition to the family. But I was wrong. I still felt that I am a newbie mom! Carrying my twins on my tummy before was far more different now that I have my singleton pregnancy. I tried to look for a lot of resources online and it was very difficult to find something or to find groups to ask questions to or to rely on. Then I started blogging, a few months later learned that I am pregnant with our only girl. Soon I found a lot of events related to mothers and so on. I am very thankful for this kind of events because I get to learn more. Even before, I really want to exclusively breastfeed the twins, baby led weaning, and anything that I can see online. But because having twins is far more difficult than having only one baby, I failed so much! And now it seems like I am starting all over again.

Last November 19, 2016, I was invited by Babymama for their Natural Nurturing event in Ortigas Center. The event was for moms to learn more about breastfeeding and babywearing.

Here was Mommy Lan of Mother Nurture where she discussed the importance of breastfeeding. I breastfeed my twins for more than 2 years and I still get to know a lot of information during the event.

Aside from all the information about breastfeeding, I also discovered the product of Mother Nurture 7 in 1 Choco and Coffee mix. I admit that I am a coffee person. When I learned that I was pregnant for the 2nd time, it was hard for me to stop drinking coffee. This product is safe for breastfeeding so I can't wait for our breastfeeding journey to begin. And I don't need to feel guilty about drinking coffee anymore while breastfeeding!

Yummymummy Denise of INDIGObaby talked about the importance of babywearing. I never tried babywearing with my twins because how would I do it with two babies right? So when I got a chance to finally learn some tips on babywearing, again I was so excited! I can finally do it with my baby girl!

Mommies got to take home some freebies from Babymama.

It was such a fun filled with information events for moms like me. I hope I still get to attend events like this. It really helps a lot for a not-so-first-timer mom like me and especially to newbie moms!
