Last night, I had the unexpected pleasure of attending the #ParkHyungSikinManila fanmeet, and it was nothing short of amazing! Originally, I thought I wouldn’t make it, but thanks to a last-minute ticket purchase, I witnessed the bubbly and charming Park Hyung Sik in person. Here’s a breakdown of my unforgettable night.

One of the first things that stood out was the sheer amount of freebies. Attendees were given free photo cards (with sleeves!) and a delicious donut from Founders Donuts PH—it was like a mini gift fest.

I went alone but quickly bonded with fellow ARMY and Engene fans who shared the same excitement. It's amazing how fan events like these bring people together.

Park Hyung Sik’s energy was infectious! From the get-go, he was super game with all the fan meet activities, laughing and playfully interacting with the crowd. His enthusiasm was palpable, making the event feel so warm and personal. At some points, his interactions with fans were nothing short of chaotic, but that just added to the fun. You could tell he was genuinely enjoying himself, and we couldn’t help but laugh along.
Learning Tagalog: A Fun Attempt
One of the highlights of the evening was when Park Hyung Sik tried to speak in Tagalog. While he nailed a few words, some seemed a little forced—understandably so! But his effort made us all appreciate him even more. It's clear he wanted to connect with the Filipino audience, and we loved him for that.

The fan meet wasn’t just about sitting and watching—there were interactive activities too! One of my favorites was the poker face game, where he sang while using microphones with funny voice filters. Even though he’s already an amazing singer, hearing him sing with those filters was hilarious. We even got to see him dance a little, though he joked about not having practiced.

Seeing Park Hyung Sik live was a dream come true for me. I’d been a Kdrama addict long before becoming an ARMY, and he was one of my first Kdrama crushes from Strong Girl Bong-Soon. Knowing that he’s close friends with V from BTS made the experience even more special. The event ended with a hi-bye session where I saw him up close—his face was so small in real life, it was surreal!
