Enhanced Community Quarantine was announced by President Rodrigo Duterte to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
In these trying times, big companies and banks cooperated and pledge for payment extensions to help each and every Filipinos to stay connected, ensure electricity, continuous water service, and most of all to keep everyone to stay at home for the safety of our loved ones for the 30-day quarantine.
Here are the companies that extended the payment of their bills from 30-day up to a 60-day period.
BILLS PAYMENT
Meralco is providing a 30-day payment extension from your due date.
Maynilad suspended their connection overdue accounts until April 14, 2020.
Globe Postpaid (mobile and broadband) is giving a 30-day bill payment extension from your due date.
My Sky is extending its bill payment period by another 30 days.
Smart place a 30-day payment extension period for all its postpaid customers of PLDT Home, PLDT Enterprise, Smart & Sun Postpaid.
Sunlife is also extending the grace period for premium payments to 91 days.
Converge is further extending bills payment by 30 more days from the due date.
BANKS & LOANS
BDO is providing a 60-day payment extension for qualified Credit Card, Auto, Home, SME. and Personal Loan customers with due dates of up to April 15, 2020.
RCBC Bankard cardholders in good standing and with due dates from March 16 to April 15, 2020 can skip their due dates and make a payment 30 days after.
Chinabank offers a 30-day payment extension to its consumer loan customers in good credit standing.
BPI is extending a 30-day grace period for a qualified credit card, personal, home, auto, and SEME loan clients to help ease the burden during these trying times.
PSBank offers a 30-day grace period on loan payments to qualified Auto, Home, and Personal Loan clients.
Robinson's Bank is providing a grace period for the payments due from arch 16 tp April 15, 2020, for customers with good credit standing.
Unionbank will be giving a 30-day payment extension for a housing loan, auto loan, and quick loan qualified customers with no late fee.
EastWest Bank announced that payment due dates for auto, personal, mortgage and EEL loans, and credit cards shall be extended by 30 days for eligible customers.
Metrobank will extend a 30-day grace period program to qualified Car loan, Home loan and Credit Card payments.
Security Bank is extending payment due dates for Credit Cards and Loans.
Maybank will be giving a 30-day extension period for credit card, auto loan, mortgage, personal loan and salary loan to qualified clients with payment due dates from March 12 to April 15, 2020.
Pag-IBIG Fund is offering a three-month moratorium to its member-borrowers to help defray their expenses during the enhanced community quarantine being implemented by the government in its fight to contain the Covid-19 virus.
