An EGG-stra Special Easter at SM City Masinag

Happy Easter everyone! How did you celebrate your Easter? Filipino families celebrate the Easter hearing the Holy Mass, bonding over food and quick getaways. We do love a quick getaway but this year, we settled going to church and then afterward, go to the mall. Because hello? Sobrang inet and spending Easter inside the mall is one of our best options. You need not to go far away as you can celebrate the holiday with joining Easter-themed fairs, egg hunting, and shopping.

We visited one of our favorite malls (because this one is the nearest too!), SM City Masinag. This year, SM City Masinag celebrates Easter with the Hatchimals craze.

Hatchimals are one of the newest toy collectibles now with magical creatures that comes out inside colorful speckled eggs when their hatch. And every kid got a chance to have a meet and greet with one of the Hatchimals.

The mall atrium is designed with a garden-like play area surrounded by Draggle, Owlicorn, Bearakeet, and others. Hatchimals toys are also available on display from Toy Kingdom.

Easter will never be complete without egg hunting. Aside from the traditional hunt for toy eggs, shoppers joined the digital hunt wherein QR codes are scattered around the Easter to find and scan for giveaways, deals, and other prizes.

Along with giving away bunny ears to all the shoppers that day, parents joined their kids dressing them with the most colorful and cutest bunny costumes in the EGG-stravagant Bunny Costume Contest for a chance to win SM gift certificates.
