Ohayō gozaimasu! For this post, we are going Japanese! But wait, there's more! Shabu-Shabu and unlimited beef sounds good? Yeah, it better be, Japanese + Shabu-Shabu + unlimited of anything sounds too good to be true? Yes, I am not kidding! Better tune into this post. A few weeks ago, I was invited by our friends from Zomato to try Shaburi at Uptown Mall. This branch is the only one in town. Shaburi offers all you can eat Japanese Shabu-Shabu.
Shabu-shabu is a Japanese cooking style where dinners cook thin slices of meat quickly in boiling broth and then dip them in sauce. Shabu-shabu originated in China, where lamb was the meat of choice. It has become widely known in Japan since 1952 when a butcher shop in Osaka used beef which many Japanese prefer. "Shabu-shabu" was named for the sound produced by the broth produced while cooking slices of meat, as it is similar to the sound of water when we wash clothes.
Shaburi's place was well lit as I entered, the buffet greeted me wide opens! Before I could choose a comfortable seat and waited for the other foodies to arrive, I took my chance on taking pictures around.
Well, I think we are done enough with the introduction, let's go to the food! Aside from the unlimited shabu-shabu, they also offer a buffet. There's nothing much with the buffet food, but nevertheless, I am here for the unlimited Shabu-Shabu!
We had the lunch menu with a wide array of selection. Its quite overwhelming I tell you but let's get to it step by step. First, you have to choose your meat. They have beef, chicken, and wagyu. Another selection which is not on the menu is their seafood. Just ask their staff about it. Don't forget that I mentioned that, alright?

Next, choose one soup. Order from Original Konbu, Sukiyaki, Beef Pepper Soup, Chicken Collagen Paitan (helps improve skin complexion!), and Hot Miso. An additional egg is available if you prefer. If in case you'll be changing soup, there is another fee of P125.
Lastly, choose appetizers, side dishes, fresh vegetables, and dipping sauces. Ask assistance for the right combination of the sauces and you won't regret it!
Let's get into cooking, yeah? This is what I like about Shabu-Shabu, the cooking part. Set the stove and wait for the soup to boil and put all the beef with your side dishes. I combined mine with noodles, fish cake, cream dory and the likes. It's only a matter of time and all of them are ready to be eaten. What I do is wrap the beef into leafy vegetables deep it into the sauce and yum! Nothing but perfection! Oh wait, don't waste the soup, get a bowl and ladle that broth.
Did I also mention that you also have an access to unlimited dessert? Unlimited coffee and drinks are available too!
Now, you need to consume these for 90 minutes only. Fret not because I think it's a considerable amount of time to indulge yourself with good unlimited food. I honestly enjoyed it or I might be biased because I love Shabu-Shabu!
