Where To Eat at SM City Masinag

Where To Eat at SM City Masinag

SM City Masinag is one of the malls that we often go to especially if its only our patakas date. It's the nearest to our place and we can go home after a movie or eating out. As for the eating out, it is always a struggle on choosing where to dine. For example, my partner would always prefer burgers and chicken. As in always. Me on the other hand, would like to be adventurous on tasting new food. Hello I'm a foodie kaya! :D So what's the sense if we don't try something new right? So I'm glad that there are many selections now at SM City Masinag.

Last week, I had the privileged to joined other bloggers for the #SMCityMasinagFoodCrawl. We had a chanced to try dishes King Bee and Congo Grille. King Bee was located before at the Kingsville Commercial Arcade. I was really glad that they are located now inside the mall. No need to cross over on the other side just to taste their Chinese cuisine dishes. Back on their previous spot, I already reviewed them and was happy that I got to taste again their must try's.

Check my full review of King Bee here.

It was a happy feast and King Bee again didn't disappoint me. My favorite is still the Sauteed Prawn Balls w/ Salted Egg Yolk and Broccoli Flower. Though I missed their Shredded Beef Tenderloin w/ Sliced Mango, I still loved everything that was served. Thank's King Bee!

SM City Masinag - Congo Grille

Congo Grille is also not new to me. We once dine here and was not really impressed on the food that we ordered. It was quite surprising that after giving them a second shot, I actually liked what they have to offer. So yeah, second chances are a big deal.

Kilawin Tanigue

Kilawin Tanigue. Fresh Tanigue, with chili finger, white onion and tomato. I simply liked the combination of this shot-ful appetizer.

Two Way Pork Adobo

2 Way Pork Adobo. Cooked two way, visaya and bicolano way, with roasted garlic and chili finger. Blended with coconut milk.

Pinakbet Rice

Pinakbet Rice. Rice cooked with one their best seller. As an Ilocana myself, my favorite vegetable dish would be Pinakbet. And this Rice from Congo Grille is definitely their must try dishes!

Sisig Kapampangan

Sisig Kapampangan. Pork Maskara mixed with chicken liver, white onion and chili finger with their very own sauce.

Adobong Pusit

Adobong Pusit. Crispied fresh squid cooked in their special adobo sauce which is the squid's ink. A different take on adobo and I liked it!

Lola Marcella's Fried Chicken

Lola Marcella's Fried Chicken. Boneless thigh chicken marinated in a special sauce, breaded with sweet potato flour, deep fried until crisp.

Sizzling Stuffed Squid

Sizzling Stuffed Squid. Fresh squid stuffed with tomato, onion and quick melt cheese.

Congo Mango Bites

Congo Mango Bites. One of the best sweets of Congo Grille, served bite size topped with fresh mango, drizzled with chocolate syrup and cherry. Some of you already know that I am a fan of sweets and desserts and I can guarantee you that this is one of the best dessert ever! It was like a graham cake but delivered differently into a whole new level! I super loved it!

Turon De Leche

Turon De Leche. Their very own custard dessert, wrapped and fried, served with salted caramel syrup and vanilla ice cream. I know that I already mentioned that the Congo Mango Bites was the best, but I was wrong. I never tasted anything like this. Turon plus Leche Flan? Two of my favorites in one! And not to mention there's an addition of ice cream! It was too good!

We were also served with their Ice Blended Tea that is good for groups. They also cater to parties and have the famous theme which is the Jungle. Not only the best place to dine out but for parties too! Thank's a bunch Congo Grille! I'll be back for sure!

Now you know where to eat at SM City Masinag, enjoy!

King Bee and Congo Grille are located at the Lower Ground Flr of SM City Masinag.
