Nerve-Wracking Avengers Infinity War

Nerve-Wracking Avengers Infinity War

We just finished watching Infinity War today and all I can say is that it was nerve-wracking, full of actions, a pack of A-listers actors and actresses, and a very bitin ending. I think they made it that way to give way to the next Marvel movie. They always do it, don't go out just yet at the cinema without seeing the end credits because that is where they'll leave the clues.

Plot: Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet -- the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.

As I always mention, I am not a Marvel fan but I learned from watching prequels and sequels to understand the storylines. Yes, I need to re-watch the movies which I did with Star Wars. After watching Black Panther, we've been waiting for Avengers Infinity War so here are my thoughts about it.

  • The movie started with a bang and a few minutes on to it someone already died! Agad-agad!
  • A movie full of A-listers Hollywood actors and actresses! But it made me confused on which one to focus.
  • An impactful of action sequences.
  • As mentioned, hindi talaga ako Marvel fan, my partner is. Kaya I researched about the MCU timeline para maka-relate ako. Naiinis kasi yung partner ko everytime nagtatanong ako sa kanya. :p

UPDATED: Watch the Marvel Movies according to the timeline:

1. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) | 2. Captain Marvel (2019) | 3.  The Incredible Hulk (2008) | 4. Iron Man (2008) | 5. Iron Man 2 (2010) | 6. Thor (2011) | 7. The Avengers  (2012) | 8. Iron Man 3 (2013) | 9. Thor: The Dark World (2013) | 10. Captain America The Winter Soldier (2014) | 11. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) | 12. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) | 13. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) | 14. Ant-Man (2015) | 15. Captain America: Civil War (2016) | 16. Black Panther (2018) | 17. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) | 18. Doctor Strange (2016) | 19. Thor: Ragnarok (2017) | 20. Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) | 21. Avengers: Infinity War (2018) | 22. Avengers: Endgame (2019)

  • It was nerve-wracking in a sense where I was left feeling tense and all worried about the superheroes dying left and right.
  • With that being said, it had unpredictable twisted scenes.
  • I see what you did there Dr. Strange. I thought there was something that he gave up that time stone so easily. He saw the future a million times so I bet he knows what he is doing.
  • I felt really sad for Spiderman disintegrating.
  • I felt sad for Gamora too but the characters of Guardians of the Galaxy didn't really make an impact on me except for cute teenager Groot. I kept laughing at Hulk too not wanting to come out.
  • A pleasant surprise of Tyrion's appearing as a giant dwarf! (Kaya pala wala pang Game of Thrones He He He)
  • It was enjoyable but it felt really bitin.
  • Don't leave without seeing the ending credits.
  • It left my heart feeling devastated even exhausted from the fight scenes and all that happened, but nevertheless, I am too excited about the next Marvel movie.

Next, Avengers: Endgame!
