I am a number one fan of desserts! I always, always make room for desserts whenever I am out dining with my family or at foodie meetups. I've been doing foodie meetups for quite some time now so I have several dessert shops that I really like. I can actually name a few and others is forgettable.
Recently, I visited this coffee shop/car wash that offers good desserts. Say hello to Coffee Time Cakes & Pastries in Santolan Pasig! When I say good desserts, I mean quality cakes and dessert that can even compete internationally.

I always pass by this place whenever I go to work but never really notice that there's a cafe here. The cafe is small but don't underestimate on what they can offer. Beside the cafe is their car-wash shop on where you can have you car wash then order some sweet delights.
In terms of baking authentic goodies, I am pleased that this cafe is offering cakes and pastries that are baked by Chef Amelia Carr, a retired French trained Pinay pâtissière. We devoured into several types of cakes that day and could you imagine that she made all of these in one day? Quite amazing right? And the taste of the cakes are baked into perfection, not too sweet, textures are just right, and sinful taste is definitely there. Did I mentioned that the cakes are plated beautifully pleasing to the eyes.

Blueberry Cheesecake - P160 (slice) P1300 (whole)
I am a huge fan of cheesecake's, well anything with cheese on it is a big plus for me. The texture of the cake is smooth. There is the right balance of sweetness and blueberry taste.
Choco Salted Caramel Cake P150 (slice) P1200 (whole
A sophisticated cake that everyone can enjoy. I love how chocolatey this one is! You can really taste the dark chocolate and salted caramel frosting. This cake is definitely moist and sinfully decadent!
Tiramisu P160 (slice) P1300 (whole)
This cake is a timeless dessert perfect for any occasions. Nothing goes better than pairing this with your favorite drinks.
San Rival P165 (slice) P1500 (whole)
A crowd favorite that is gone in an instant. Its not too sweet and is has the right amount of cashew nuts. This Filipino cake is chewy and buttery made with layers of buttercream and meringue. A very yummy layered cake!
Strawberry Shortcake (pre-order)
If there is a crowd favorite, this one is a crowd-pleaser. I can't reiterate enough how good this cake is! The fresh sliced strawberries combined with whipped cream frosting is just perfect! I've been to a lot of foodie meetups with good dessert but this one is definitely one of the best that I've tried.

They also have a different take on their French Macarone (P65 each). It is slightly bigger than the standard size but rest assured that the taste is guaranteed authentic. Perfect for pasalubong!
The House Special
Coffee Time Cakes & Pastries also offers muffins and cookies. They have Red Velvet, Choco Chip and Carrot Muffins.
Included on their House Special Menu are pastries such as Ensaimada con Quezo De Bola (P70) and French Chicken Empanada (P50).
Cookies are Oatmeal Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie and Choco Chip Cookie.

I got to try the Red Velvet Latte and it was perfect to the cakes not being sweet. It's a healthy twist to your regular coffee drink. And because I enjoyed this coffee, I forgot that I don't have a solo picture of it! He He He Borrowing this picture from Sand Under My Feet.
