During these rainy days, we sometimes want to be waterproof. Especially for those kids who still needs to go to school because the suspension of the classes is not yet announce. How about the corporate people who still needs to go to work even if its raining hard? I can relate! Imagine me coming from Rizal and going to work all the way to BGC then the hard rain pours! I know right? I'll be at the office all so wet!
So I discovered this water repellent sneakers that is timely for our weather now. It's called Ducky. I got size 6 so its a bit big for my size 5 feet. I thought the color of it is blue but when you look closer it somewhat purple.
The upper cloth is so thick and rough on the outside. It has a logo of a duck inside and it has white color lace. The lining is on dark blue with stitches.
On the side of the sneakers is a stitched Ducky on it.
The lower sole was 1/4 of the thumb thick which will be great for conquering water on the road. I prefer on wearing this with socks on. The sides were a bit hard that it might hurt my feet. This sneakers will look fine on a pair of shorts or pants. I've tried it one time and it definitely lives up on being water repellent. Its heavy so I don't want to wear it on normal days. I haven't try washing it though so I am not sure if its easy to clean and dry.
With rainy day approaching, you might want to consider buying one. Of course, this does not replace those boots that is more applicable on rainy days.
