I am one of those moms who get to picture their kid for several times and making the hard decisions of choosing which one to print. I am such an old school that I still do add pictures to a photo album. Maybe I am sentimental that way. Ever since I am on grade school, I'll make sure that I have souvenirs (in my case, pictures of every one I meet or every occasion) from the people of my life/special moments. In fact, I still have those studio pictures of my friends that I collected.
Those were the days when we still use film on our camera's. We don't have the option to choose on which one to print. But I think it is the best memories I had during my era, using films. Why do I print and collect pictures? Easy, a picture creates a thousand memories. Old photos may fade but the memories behind it are far forgotten.
Fast forward to today, camera's with films are no longer a trend. In fact, we have a wide innovation when it comes to taking pictures and restoring them. I do restore our pictures, especially my kids' pictures online privately and on a hard drive. But I am classic, I still print out pictures and arrange them on an album. Other than printing on a photo paper, one great way to have pictures restored is by printing it as a book. I love the idea of printing pictures thru a book. I never really considered it before until I finally tried Photobook Worldwide.
Photobook Worldwide offers handmade photo books that can easily be personalized. They also have Photobook Philippines but the one that I will talk about in this post is the first. I was provided by a free code from Mommy Bloggers PH but all reviews here are mine. I got the 6"x6" hardcover Photobook, Simple Book (20 pages) worth PHP1200 and paid for the shipping of PHP200.
Here is how you can do it:
1. Download the Photobook app on the Apple Store or Google Play Store -- goo.gl/EdiHcL
2. Launch the app and select Simple Books (6"x6")
3. Personalize your photobook by uploading at least 21 of your photos (additional photos will result in extra charges)
4. Apply any voucher code if you have any.
5. Tap to upload your project and that's it!
I got the simple book with no designs but if you want to personalize yours, check Photobook's Designer and you can customize it. They also range from sizes and orientations. Other products such as calendar, cards, canvas, metal prints, photo prints, layflat photobooks, notebooks, posters, insta cards, and business cards are also available.

My Photobook came after a week (yes 7 days guaranteed shipping!) and I really fell in-love with it! The hardbound was made from quality materials and the pages are well bound enough. The quality of the paper is good (I chose premium silk). At the back of the book, you can indicate the name of this album.
After a few days, I got another code (I got 3 actually!) so I instantly ordered my 2nd, 3rd and 4th set of Photobook. Just when I thought that I don't have printed pictures of my youngest daughter and it is so timely to have her pictures printed on a book instead so I can escape the part on putting them on an album. I can also elude the fact that it is an almost same price when you have it printed. Let's make a computation. A wallet size pic costs around PHP3 each plus a photo album at PHP100. I got the photobook with 20 pages plus the front hardbound so that is around PHP160. And I paid for these books at PHP200. Yeah I know, I compute things if I really get a good deal out of something. It is a steal, right? Now, I can't wait for those books to be delivered and will have to update this post once I have it.
PHOTOBOOK BIG FAIL!!!!
UPDATE: Received the additional 2 Photobooks last weekend (April 7, 2018). And to my dismay, almost all the images are cut! I sent them an email last April 9 and they requested the order numbers and app reference which I gladly complied. Good thing I had the screenshots of the look of the book before purchasing it. And I am now patiently waiting for their reply.
I felt really sad as I can't even enjoy these books! :( I requested for the shipping fee refund as I used free codes for each of the photobooks. I am hoping they will resolve this matter as I am still looking forward on ordering more photobooks from them. But if this complaint will not be look into, I'll refrain myself from ordering, ever.
UPDATE: I already received the replaced Photobooks after several weeks but still thinking if I'll order again from them.
