3 Things You Need To Know Before Going To Bueno Manila

Who loves Spanish food here? I do! I do! Blame it to our grandmother's who was greatly influenced by the Spaniards during their time. I love that our local cuisine have dishes derived from the roots of Spanish. Well, a good news to all those Spanish Cuisine lovers out there. A new restaurant which is not limited to food but will also serve tapa's and wine will open its door in Pasig. Bueno Tapa's Wine & Restaurant will have its official opening on August 19, 2017 (tomorrow!) at The Grove by Rockwell. I was one of the lucky bloggers who attended their Blogger's Conference and tried exciting dishes which you all can experience.

"BUENO" -- meaning 'good' in Spanish -- has become more than mere word to describe something delighting. On other occasions, it could also mean "okay, alright, sige" when said with a distinct tone. As I am one of the first to experience their unique and relaxing Spanish dining experience, I came up with the 3 things you need to know before going to Bueno Manila.

1. Reasonable Authentic Spanish Dishes - Bueno's menu offers authentic Spanish dishes incorporating quality ingredients at reasonable prices! Must try's is their Paella. Arroz Negro P390 and Paella De Marisco Y Pollo P520, good for 4 people and super worth it. My fave would be the latter.

2. They served the best Croquettas! - Ranging from squid, Spanish sausage, cheese pimiento and prawn, fried and rolled in breadcrumbs, crunchy and full of fillings inside. They are served with full effort and plating.

3. The Chef is to watch out for! - The chef might looks familiar to you. Yes, he is an actor and a GMA Kapuso artist. He is none other than Ken Alfonso. Ken portrayed the antagonist role on the Filipino remake of My Love From The Stars. Trained by his mom, passion drive him to decide on opening Bueno Manila. He's very hands-on in terms of cooking the dishes and learned his way to Spanish food by letting himself experience it firsthand. He stayed in Madrid and Barcelona so that he can establish his menu for his restaurant. Focusing on his love for cooking is also his way of a back-up as the series that he starred on is now coming to an endnow. In person, he is adorable knows his way on the kitchen (a way to a woman's heart is thru her stomach too! hehehe). He smiles on everyone and very accommodating.
