This is just a glimpse of our experience at Clinica Antipolo Hospital & Wellness Center. Well, we actually had a not-so-nice two days stay here where I had to rant on Facebook about their not-so-good service. But the admins reached out to me and said sorry so I think everything is well.

When Deus had 3 days of on and off fever, we didn't have second thoughts on having him admitted at the hospital. Besides, my health card (Philcare) will cover all the expenses. The nearest affiliated hospital from our place is Clinica Antipolo Hospital & Wellness Center.

After waiting for almost 6 hours without any reasons why we waited that long, we had our admitting process checklist with the admitting kit. Here are what's inside the admitting kit.

And here was the small private room with my small cute patient.

The bed was a bit small where I can't fit myself into. My kid can't sleep without me by his side. The side rack is only half the bed so we pushed the bed to the wall so he won't fall while sleeping. I slept on my side so we could fit.

There is a flat screen tv (with cable), small ref and small cabinet for our personal things.

The bathroom is spacious enough and have a shower. I do hope they also have a heater.

Some of the food that was served during our stay. It was ok and was glad that the staff from their cafeteria already included a bottled water on the 2nd time he served the tray of food.

My cute little patient found a way to play. :)

This was the very first time Deus was admitted to the hospital. So we were very dissapointed when they let a 2 year old kid waited for a very long time just to get to our room. I can understand if there is no room yet but no one informed us. Knowing my kid that is super active, he doesn't want to be still at one place. He will make a way to play even though he already had his dextrose. So I made a rant on Facebook when they can't even change a peed bed-sheet, we waited for almost 2 hours to the point where the pee was already dried on the sheet. I also don't understand why you need to pay for the copy of the results for x-ray and urine tests. They didn't provide us the result thus they require us to get it from the document department and there is a charge for it. I am not really sure if that is really the process because every-time I do laboratory tests, the result is already included. They also prescribed Vitamin C to my kid during our stay without asking us if we do have one available (we have the same one at home). The vitamins are not included on the health card's coverage and I discovered from a friend that they do this on each of their patient especially kids. When I was processing our bill for discharge, one of the admin team went to our room (they saw my rant on Facebook where I tagged their Hospital). He apologized for what had happened and even their Medical Director wanted to personally talk to me. They gave this small teddy bear with the Director's handwritten message. I do hope that my dissatisfaction will help them improve more on dealing with their patients and focus more on their needs. I am not being demanding but the health of my kid is at stake here. We only stayed there for 2 days what more if we stayed longer.

Apology accepted but I don't think we will ever go back here again.
