    How to Crochet Ballet Flats

It's been years since I first made my Crochet Ballet Flats. I became pregnant and all hindi pa din sya tapos! I still have a lot of crochet drafts that are still not finish. So I was happy that I was able to finish the other pair last week. Good job!

These flats can be used in the office, a substitute for my shoes while I'm at my desk. And you can also pair it with your pajamas.

This is a very easy pattern. You just need to know the basics of crochet and you are good to go. I found the pattern here. I used a green yarn and 5.0 mm hook.

Round 1: Ch 5 and sl st to form a ring.

Round 2: Ch 2 and make 9 dc then sl st.
Round 3: Ch 2 and make 9 dc then sl st.
Round 4: Ch 2 and make 19 dc sl st.

Round 5: Ch 2 and make 19 dc then sl st.
Round 6: Ch 2 and make 19 dc then sl st.
Round 7: For this round, I will not complete the whole round. It will be the half of the round which is for the sole of the flats. You will be working back and forth. Ch 2 and make 19 dc.
Round 8 - 16 - Continue the stitches until the desired length.

After the end of the rounds, fold the end in half inside out and sew them up.

Flip right side out so the seam is on the inside of the slipper. Finished the edges with sc on all the stitches with a different color.

There, as you can see the pairs are not the same in proportion. He He He. The first one that I made was quite loose on my foot so I need to adjust the stitches.
